Comprehensive Eye Examinations
Comprehensive eye examinations are important. Diabetes and glaucoma can be detected during an eye exam. Recent statistics show that two thirds of us will eventually develop cataracts and one in 33 will suffer from glaucoma, a disease that usually has no symptoms.
A thorough eye exam requires evaluation of the retina which includes dilation of your eyes. Because of this, your vision may be blurred and you may experience temporary light-sensitivity; therefore, we ask that you bring a friend or family member to drive you home after your examination.
